Designer and illustrator Kate Furman Patterson crafts an abundant life

KATE FURMAN PATTERSON’S ART IS MULTIDIMENSIONAL. An accomplished jewelry designer, she crafts bespoke heirloom pieces “for the raw and refined woman and the unique alternative bride” in her studio in the Village of West Greenville. A Greenville native, Patterson received her BFA from the University of Georgia and her MFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design.
Kate is also an illustrator, who has recently published her first book, Winston in Wyoming. She is an expert-in-residence at The Swag in Waynesville, North Carolina, and also hosts drawing and watercolor workshops in her Greenville studio.

KATE FURMAN PATTERSON: We will be mostly at home potty-training our two-and-a-half-year-old, Lindy. Wish us luck! Lindy is a sassy little thing. She is very excited to wear “blue underpants,” as she believes she is already a “big girl.”
